Planning fees reflect the research, strategy, coordination, and support needed to turn the trip idea into a workable plan. Before work begins, we confirm the fee based on the type of trip, number of travelers, logistics, and level of planning support involved.
Vacations

For straightforward vacations of up to 8 travelers.
Standard Groups
Starting at $500
For friend trips, family groups, hobby groups, and more straightforward group resort vacations.
Celebrations & Events
Starting at $750
For milestone trips, destination celebrations, vow renewals, or trips that require more coordination.
Corporate Offsites & Retreats
Starting at $1,500
For smaller executive offsites, leadership retreats, and corporate retreats.
Incentive Trips & Client Events
Starting at $2,000
For incentive trips, client or partner experiences, larger corporate groups, and more involved corporate travel planning.
Complex & Custom Programs

Do you charge a planning fee?
Yes. Vacationisms charges a planning fee based on the scope, complexity, and support needed for the trip. The fee is confirmed before work begins and is separate from the cost of travel.
Is the planning fee applied toward the trip?
No. The planning fee is separate from hotels, resorts, airfare, insurance, excursions, supplier deposits, event costs, and other travel expenses.
Do I need to know where I want to go before booking a consultation?
No. Some clients come in with a specific destination, resort, hotel, or property already in mind. Others only know the kind of trip they want to plan. Either way, we can help narrow the direction.
Can Vacationisms help if I already found a resort or destination?
Yes. We can evaluate whether it actually fits the trip, compare alternatives if needed, and explain the tradeoffs before you commit.
Do you only book all-inclusive resorts?
No. While many of our clients travel to all-inclusive resorts, Vacationisms also plans hotel stays, villa vacations, custom itineraries, group trips, and corporate travel. The focus is finding the right fit for the experience you want, not limiting you to one type of travel.
Do you book flights?
Vacationisms does not provide flight-only booking services. Flights can be coordinated as part of a vacation, group, or other custom itinerary, and we can help with timing and logistics when appropriate. Travelers using points or miles generally book those flights directly.
What happens after the consultation?
If the trip is a fit, we confirm the planning fee and scope. Once the planning fee is paid and terms are accepted, we begin research, recommendations, booking support, and planning coordination based on the trip.
